#### 40 Copy of accounts to be kept as record by strata managing agent 40 Copy of accounts to be kept as record by strata managing agent > > (1) This section applies to a strata managing agent given 1 of the following notices requiring the agent to deliver certain records or books of account kept by the agent— > > > > > (a) a notice under the [Strata Schemes Management Act 2015](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2015-050), section 61, > > > > > (b) a notice under the [Community Land Management Act 2021](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2021-007), section 65. > > > (2) The strata managing agent must, before delivering the records or books of account— > > > > > (a) prepare and keep a true copy of the records or books of account the subject of the notice, and > > > > > (b) certify in writing on the copy that the copy is a true copy of the records or books of account. > > > > Maximum penalty— > > > > > (a) for a corporation—40 penalty units, or > > > > > (b) otherwise—20 penalty units.
