Tasmania regulation
This Order names certain Tasmanian public bodies as “exempted public institutions” under section 55 of the Poisons Act 1971 and revokes earlier orders on the same topic. It takes effect on Gazette notification and matters because it determines which public agencies are treated differently under the Poisons Act, affecting their regulatory obligations for possessing, using or handling poisons.
