#### 48 Exclusion of liability 48 Exclusion of liability > > (1) A protected person is not personally liable for anything done or omitted to be done in good faith— > > > > > (a) in the exercise of a function under this Act, or > > > > > (b) in the reasonable belief that the act or omission was in the exercise of a function under this Act. > > > (2) In this section— > > > > protected person means any of the following— > > > > > (a) the plumbing regulator, > > > > > (b) an authorised person, > > > > > (c) a person (other than a local council, joint organisation or county council) to whom the plumbing regulator has delegated functions under this Act. > > **s 48:** Am 2013 No 47, Sch 1.20 \[13\]; 2017 No 65, Sch 2.23 \[12\].
