48 What if the applicant is not the owner? (1) If the applicant is not the owner of the land for which the permit is needed, an application must— (a) be signed by the owner of the land; or (b) include a declaration by the applicant that the applicant has notified the owner about the application. S. 48(2) amended by No. 28/2000 s. 3. (2) A person must not obtain or attempt to obtain a permit by wilfully making or causing to be made any false representation or declaration either orally or in writing.
