211 Savings for permits issued in accordance with revoked scheme or order (1) If, on or after the commencement of item 131 in the Schedule and before the enactment of the **Planning and Environment (Amendment) Act** **1988**, an application for a permit was determined— (a) in accordance with the **Town and Country Planning Act 1961**; and (b) a planning scheme or order in force before that commencement— any permit issued as a result of such a determination that, if issued before that commencement, would have been a permit in force under the **Town and Country Planning Act** **1961**— (c) continues in force under this Act; and (d) subject to section 208(2) and (3), has the same effect and is subject to the same provisions as if it had been issued under this Act. (2) Section 208(2) and (3) has effect for the purposes of subsection (1) as if a reference to the commencement of item 131 in the Schedule were a reference to the enactment of the **Planning and Environment (Amendment) Act 1988**.
