16E Minister may direct municipal council to apply to prepare amendment If a municipal council decides under section 16B to apply for authorisation to prepare an amendment under section 16F, the Minister, by notice in writing, may direct the municipal council to make the application within the time (being not less than 6 weeks) specified in the notice.
