159 Directions S. 159(1AA) inserted by No. 6/2025 s. 159(2). (1AA) A panel may give directions about the consideration of submissions. S. 159(1AAB) inserted by No. 6/2025 s. 159(2). (1AAB) Without limiting subsection (1AA), if a panel decides under section 158C to treat two or more submissions as if they were one submission, the panel may give directions about any matter in relation to the submissions. S. 159(1) amended by No. 6/2025 s. 159(3). (1) Without limiting subsection (1AA), a panel may give directions about— (a) the times and places of hearings; and (b) matters preliminary to hearings; and S. 159(1)(c) amended by No. 12/2021 s. 47. (c) the conduct of hearings, including the manner by which hearings are conducted, whether in person or by audio link or audio visual link. S. 159(2) substituted by No. 3/2013 s. 83.
