A reference in this regulation to an authority to prospect is a reference to— an authority to prospect under the 2004 Act ; and an authority to prospect under the 1923 Act . A reference in this regulation to a petroleum lease is a reference to— a petroleum lease under the 2004 Act ; and a lease under the 1923 Act . A reference in this regulation to a petroleum tenure is a reference to— a 2004 Act petroleum tenure; and an authority to prospect and a lease under the 1923 Act . A reference in this regulation to a petroleum well includes a reference to a well under the 1923 Act . (sec.4-ssec.1) A reference in this regulation to an authority to prospect is a reference to— an authority to prospect under the 2004 Act ; and an authority to prospect under the 1923 Act . (sec.4-ssec.2) A reference in this regulation to a petroleum lease is a reference to— a petroleum lease under the 2004 Act ; and a lease under the 1923 Act .
