71 Consent orders—party with impaired decision-making
(a) the Magistrates Court is considering an application for a consent
order; and
(b) the court considers that a party to the proceeding is a person with
impaired decision-making ability who is not separately
represented by a lawyer or another person with a right to
represent the person; and
(c) it appears to the court that the party should be separately
represented.
(2) The Magistrates Court—
(a) must not make the consent order; and
(b) may adjourn the hearing to allow the person to get separate
representation.
