38A Protection order continues in force when protected
person becomes adult
(a) the court makes protection order; and
(b) a protected person is a child when the order is made.
(2) To remove any doubt, the order continues in force in accordance with
the terms of the order and this Act when the protected person becomes
an adult.

39 Meaning of timing notice
In this Act:
timing notice, for a preliminary conference, means a written notice
stating—
(a) the return date, time and place of the conference; and
(b) that if a party to the application does not appear at the
conference, the court may decide the application in the party’s
absence.
