19 Interim orders—general interim orders and special
interim orders
(1) On an application for a final order, the Magistrates Court may make—
(a) if there is a related charge outstanding in relation to the
respondent—a special interim order; or
(b) in any other case—a general interim order.
(2) If the court makes a special interim order in circumstances where a
general interim order may be made—
(a) the operation of the special interim order is not affected by the
fact that a general interim order may have been made; and
(b) the court may set aside the special interim order and make a
general interim order.
(3) If the court makes a general interim order in circumstances where a
special interim order may be made—
(a) the operation of the general interim order is not affected by the
fact that a special interim order may have been made; and
(b) the court may set aside the general interim order and make a
special interim order.
