41 Interim order made on electronic application by police If the court makes an order under section 35 on an application made by police by telephone, fax or other electronic communication, the court must inform the police officer of— (a) the terms of the order; and (b) the period of operation of the order; and (c) the venue of the court for the first mention date for the application for the personal safety intervention order; and (d) the date and time of the first mention date for the application for the personal safety intervention order. See section 5(2) of the **Magistrates' Court Act 1989** which provides that the Magistrates' Court may sit and act at any time and place.
