200 Transitional provision—Youth Justice Act 2024—increase in minimum age of criminal responsibility (1) If, immediately before the commencement of Part 1.2 of the **Youth Justice Act 2024**, a personal safety intervention order is in force against a respondent who was 10 or 11 years of age on the date that the application for the order was made, the order is, by virtue of this section, taken to be set aside on the commencement of that Part. ***Personal safety intervention order*** includes a final order and an interim order—see section 4. (2) To avoid doubt, if a personal safety intervention order is taken to be set aside under this section, the respondent is released from any obligation to comply with the conditions of the order.
