196 Police complainants and police prosecutors—Crimes (Family Violence) Act 1987 Despite its repeal, section 7A(2) of the **Crimes (Family Violence) Act 1987** continues to apply— (a) to a police officer in relation to a complaint or application made by that police officer under that Act as in force immediately before its repeal; or (b) in relation to the police officer representing another police officer at a hearing in accordance with section 7A(1) of that Act.
