189Interim orders

189 Interim orders (1) On and from the commencement day, an interim order made under the repealed Act is taken to be an interim personal safety intervention order made under this Act. (2) If, immediately before the commencement day— (a) an interim order had been made under the repealed Act; but (b) proceedings for the hearing of the application for the final order had not yet started— the proceedings for the hearing of the application for the final order may proceed under this Act as if it were a hearing for an application for a personal safety intervention order and the interim order were an interim personal safety intervention order.
