#### 58 Conduct money for compliance with summons 58 Conduct money for compliance with summons > > (1) An attendee is not required to comply with a summons unless an amount sufficient to meet the reasonable expenses of complying with the summons is paid to the attendee— > > > > > (a) at the time of service of the summons, or > > > > > (b) within a reasonable time before the date of the attendance. > > > (2) If an attendee who is not a party to the proceedings reasonably incurs, as a result of service of the summons, an expense or loss that substantially exceeds any amount paid under subrule (1), the President may order that the requesting party pay to the attendee an additional amount in relation to the expense or loss.
