#### 57 Variation of summons 57 Variation of summons > > (1) The Division Head may set aside or vary a summons, wholly or in part— > > > > > (a) of their own motion, or > > > > > (b) on the request of a person having sufficient interest, if the request is made in accordance with these Rules. > > > (2) The Division Head may, after receiving a written request, with reasons, from the requesting party on or before the date of the attendance, order that— > > > > > (a) the terms of the summons be varied, or > > > > > (b) the attendee is not required to comply with the summons.
