#### 42 Conduct money for compliance with notice for production 42 Conduct money for compliance with notice for production > If a producer is a claimant, the producer is not required to comply with the notice for production, other than as required by rule 41(2)(d), unless an amount sufficient to meet the reasonable expenses of complying with the notice is paid to the producer— > > > (a) at the time of service of the notice, or > > > (b) within a reasonable time before the date for production under rule 40(2).
