135 Minister's opinion in relation to holdings in excess of limit at commencement of Act If within 6 months after the commencement of this Act the Minister, on the application of a person who would but for this section be in breach of section 34 in respect of land or an interest in land acquired before that commencement, forms the opinion that the holding of that land or interest by the person is in the interest of the Territory and advises the person, in writing, accordingly, section 34 applies to and in relation to the land or interest as if the Minister were of that opinion at the time the land or interest was acquired (and had advised the person, in writing, accordingly) and that section was then in force.
