85Identification cards

#### 85 Identification cards (1) The Inspectorate must cause to be issued to each inspector an identity card in a form approved by the Inspectorate. (2) An inspector must carry his or her identity card at all times when performing the functions of an inspector. (3) If a person issued with an identity card under subsection (1) stops being an inspector, the person must immediately return the identity card to the Inspectorate. Penalty for a contravention of subsection (3): 1 penalty unit. (4) Subsection (3) is an offence of strict liability. > Note: For strict liability, see section 6.1 of the Criminal Code.
