47Training of health and safety representatives

#### 47 Training of health and safety representatives (1) A health and safety representative for a designated work group must undertake a course of training relating to occupational health and safety that is accredited by the Authority for the purposes of this section. A course may be provided on a prescribed ship or prescribed unit. (2) The operator must permit the health and safety representative to take such time off work, without loss of remuneration or other entitlements, as is necessary to undertake the training.
