#### 55 Owner to make available information about conditions of employment (1) The regulations may prescribe: (a) information, in relation to the conditions of employment of seafarers, that the owner of a vessel is required to make available to the vessel’s seafarers; and (b) the manner and form (including electronic form) in which the prescribed information is required to be made available. (2) The owner of a vessel must not contravene a requirement of the regulations made for the purposes of subsection (1). Fault‑based offence (3) A person commits an offence if the person contravenes subsection (2). Penalty: 10 penalty units. Civil penalty (4) A person is liable to a civil penalty if the person contravenes subsection (2). Civil penalty: 100 penalty units.
