#### 53 Owner or master to give details of complement of vessel’s seafarers (1) The owner or master of a vessel must, at such times as are required by AMSA, give to a person prescribed by the regulations such details of, and such details of changes in, the complement of the vessel’s seafarers as the regulations require the owner or the master to give. Strict liability offence (2) A person commits an offence of strict liability if the person contravenes subsection (1). > Note: For strict liability, see section 6.1 of the Criminal Code. Penalty: 10 penalty units. Civil penalty (3) A person is liable to a civil penalty if the person contravenes subsection (1). Civil penalty: 100 penalty units.
