#### 236 Removing a wreck without consent
(1) A person must not remove any wreck if the person does not have the consent of the legal owner of the wreck or of AMSA.
Fault‑based offence
(2) A person commits an offence if the person contravenes subsection (1).
Penalty: 1,200 penalty units.
Civil penalty
(3) A person is liable to a civil penalty if the person contravenes subsection (1).
Civil penalty: 6,600 penalty units.
