#### 119 Notice of intention to ship (1) Before dangerous goods are shipped in a regulated Australian vessel or a foreign vessel, the shipper must give notice of his or her intention, in the manner and to the person prescribed by the regulations, to ship the goods. Fault‑based offence (2) A person commits an offence if the person contravenes subsection (1). Penalty: Imprisonment for 12 months or 60 penalty units, or both. Civil penalty (3) A person is liable to a civil penalty if the person contravenes subsection (1). Civil penalty: 600 penalty units.
