sec.22 Additional purpose for which chief executive may grant permit
This section states, for the Nature Conservation (Animals) Regulation 2020 , section 162 (1) (c) , an additional purpose for which a damage mitigation permit may be granted. The chief executive may grant a damage mitigation permit to authorise the catching of a problem crocodile. However, the chief executive may grant a damage mitigation permit to authorise the catching of a problem crocodile only if the chief executive is satisfied— action under the permit will not detrimentally affect the survival of estuarine crocodiles in the wild; and the proposed way of catching the crocodile is humane and not likely to cause unnecessary suffering to the crocodile. s 22 amd 2020 SL No. 136 s 442 sch 8 (sec.22-ssec.1) This section states, for the Nature Conservation (Animals) Regulation 2020 , section 162 (1) (c) , an additional purpose for which a damage mitigation permit may be granted.
