#### 54 When cancellation takes effect (1) Cancellation of the accreditation of a VET accredited course takes effect on a day determined by the National VET Regulator. > Note: Section 42 (disallowance) and Part 4 of Chapter 3 (sunsetting) of the Legislation Act 2003 do not apply to a determination (see regulations made for the purposes of paragraphs 44(2)(b) and 54(2)(b) of that Act). (2) However, the day determined by the National VET Regulator must: (a) be at least 30 days after advice is given to each affected person, as required by section 53; and (b) take into account the needs of all VET students affected by the cancellation.
