#### 131 Civil penalty—using a bogus VET qualification or VET statement of attainment (1) A natural person contravenes this subsection if: (a) the person obtains a qualification; and (b) the person knows, or a reasonable person in the circumstances could be expected to know, that the qualification is not a VET qualification; and (c) the person purports to hold the qualification as a VET qualification. Civil penalty: 240 penalty units. (2) A natural person contravenes this subsection if: (a) the person obtains a statement of attainment; and (b) the person knows, or a reasonable person in the circumstances could be expected to know, that the statement is not a VET statement of attainment; and (c) the person purports to hold the statement as a VET statement of attainment. Civil penalty: 240 penalty units.
