#### 10 When this Act does not apply—exclusion by a law of a referring State or a Territory (1) This section applies if a law of a referring State, or of a Territory, declares a matter to be an excluded matter for the purposes of this section in relation to: (a) the whole of this Act; or (b) a specified provision of this Act; or (c) this Act, other than a specified provision; or (d) this Act, otherwise than to a specified extent. (2) This Act, other than this section and Part 2 (Registration), does not apply in relation to the excluded matter to the extent provided by the declaration. (3) Subsection (2) does not apply to a declaration to the extent prescribed by the regulations.
