13 Appointment of Competent Authorities
(1) The Minister may, by notice in the Government Gazette, appoint Competent Authorities. (2) A Competent Authority: (a) may exercise all the powers and perform all the functions of an authorised officer; and (b) when exercising those powers or performing those functions, has all the immunities of an authorised officer.
