Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This short amendment adjusts the membership and meeting rules of the Australian Tobacco Board, which regulated the tobacco industry under national security powers.

What it changes:

Board composition: Alters how many representatives from different industry sectors sit on the Board:
- One category increases from 3 to 5 members
- Another category decreases from 3 to 2 members
- A third category decreases from 3 people to 1 person
Meeting requirements: Reduces the minimum number of members needed to hold an official Board meeting from six to five

These are purely administrative tweaks to the Board's structure, leaving its powers and the overall tobacco control scheme unchanged.
