sec.30AG Matters to be considered before using section 42 information gathering powers

Before using the powers under section 42 for a function under this Division, the AER must— be satisfied the information is reasonably required for the AER to carry out the function; and consider whether the information— is publicly available; or can be obtained by the AER in another way. s 30AG ins 2024 No. 12 (SA) s 15
