sec.297 AEMC may make Rules that are consequential to a Rule request
Despite section 295 (2) , the AEMC may, having regard to a request to make a Rule under section 29 (1) , make a Rule under this Law, the National Electricity Law or the National Energy Retail Law that is necessary or consequential, or corresponds, to the Rule. For the purposes of this Chapter, the AEMC must treat a Rule it may make under subsection (1) as if it were part of the Rule to be made on that request. s 297 amd 2011 No. 7 (SA) s 65 (sec.297-ssec.1) Despite section 295 (2) , the AEMC may, having regard to a request to make a Rule under section 29 (1) , make a Rule under this Law, the National Electricity Law or the National Energy Retail Law that is necessary or consequential, or corresponds, to the Rule. (sec.297-ssec.2) For the purposes of this Chapter, the AEMC must treat a Rule it may make under subsection (1) as if it were part of the Rule to be made on that request.
