sec.18 Certain extensions to, or expansion of the capacity of, pipelines to be taken to be part of a scheme pipeline

Subsection (2) applies in relation to an extension to a scheme pipeline if, by operation of the extension and expansion requirements under an applicable access arrangement, the applicable access arrangement will apply to pipeline services provided by means of the scheme pipeline as extended. For the purposes of this Law— the extension to the scheme pipeline must be taken to be part of the scheme pipeline; and the pipeline as extended must be taken to be a scheme pipeline. Also, for the purposes of this Law— an expansion of the capacity of a scheme pipeline must be taken to be part of the scheme pipeline; and the pipeline as expanded must be taken to be a scheme pipeline. s 18 sub 2022 No. 21 (SA) s 24 (sec.18-ssec.1) Subsection (2) applies in relation to an extension to a scheme pipeline if, by operation of the extension and expansion requirements under an applicable access arrangement, the applicable access arrangement will apply to pipeline services provided by means of the scheme pipeline as extended. (sec.18-ssec.2) For the purposes of this Law— the extension to the scheme pipeline must be taken to be part of the scheme pipeline; and the pipeline as extended must be taken to be a scheme pipeline. (sec.18-ssec.3) Also, for the purposes of this Law— an expansion of the capacity of a scheme pipeline must be taken to be part of the scheme pipeline; and the pipeline as expanded must be taken to be a scheme pipeline.

• (a) the extension to the scheme pipeline must be taken to be part of the scheme pipeline; and
• (b) the pipeline as extended must be taken to be a scheme pipeline.
• (a) an expansion of the capacity of a scheme pipeline must be taken to be part of the scheme pipeline; and
• (b) the pipeline as expanded must be taken to be a scheme pipeline.
