sec.148A Exemptions from particular requirements

The Rules may provide for exemptions from the requirements under section 139 , 140 , 141 , 147 or 148 . An exemption may be given subject to conditions. Without limiting the conditions that may be imposed under subsection (2) , an exemption may be given subject to conditions requiring a service provider to— ensure that its business and business activities are conducted, structured and arranged in the particular manner specified in the exemption; or disclose, in the manner specified in the exemption, to the AER and to the public, specified information about its business activities, operations, structure and arrangements. s 148A ins 2022 No. 21 (SA) s 74 sub 2023 No. 36 (SA) s 51 (sec.148A-ssec.1) The Rules may provide for exemptions from the requirements under section 139 , 140 , 141 , 147 or 148 .
