sec.9 No entitlement to staffing of office
Sections 6 to 8 do not confer an entitlement on any member of the Legislative Assembly to have a staff member, or any particular number of staff members, employed in the office of the member of the Legislative Assembly. Decisions about the employment of staff members depend on resources available to the chief executive for the purpose. The level of need for the employment of a staff member for a non-government member mentioned in section 8 may be affected, among other matters, by whether the member has an increased workload because of the particular composition of the Legislative Assembly.
