sec.8 Employment of staff member of other non-government member
This section applies to a non-government member, other than the Leader of the Opposition, who is— the leader of a political party; or an independent member. The chief executive may, on the member’s recommendation, employ a person as a staff member in the member’s office. (sec.8-ssec.1) This section applies to a non-government member, other than the Leader of the Opposition, who is— the leader of a political party; or an independent member. (sec.8-ssec.2) The chief executive may, on the member’s recommendation, employ a person as a staff member in the member’s office.

- (b) an independent member.
