sec.81 Use or disclosure for authorised purpose
The person may use or disclose the confidential information as follows— to the extent the use or disclosure is required or permitted under this Act or necessary to perform the person’s functions under this Act; if the information relates to an adult—with the adult’s consent; if the information relates to an entity other than an individual—with the entity’s consent; in compliance with lawful process requiring production of documents or giving of evidence before a court or tribunal; if otherwise required or permitted under another law.
- (a) to the extent the use or disclosure is required or permitted under this Act or necessary to perform the person’s functions under this Act;
- (b) if the information relates to an adult—with the adult’s consent;
- (c) if the information relates to an entity other than an individual—with the entity’s consent;
- (d) in compliance with lawful process requiring production of documents or giving of evidence before a court or tribunal;
- (e) if otherwise required or permitted under another law.
