sec.6 Transmission by death— Act , s 19B
This section applies if a notifiable dealing with a resource authority is required to be executed because the holder of the resource authority has died. For section 19B (2) of the Act , the executor, administrator or public trustee administering the holder’s estate must give notice to the chief executive of the notifiable dealing to enable its registration. The notice must be given after the grant of probate or letters of administration has been made. However, if the chief executive is satisfied the value of the holder’s estate is not sufficient to justify the expense of an application for the grant of probate or letters of administration, the notice must be given at least 6 months after the day the holder died. s 6 amd 2020 Act No. 14 s 85 (sec.6-ssec.1) This section applies if a notifiable dealing with a resource authority is required to be executed because the holder of the resource authority has died.
