sec.35 Re-entering exposure area
This section applies after the release of a fumigant from, and venting of, a fumigation space for a fumigation activity carried out by a licensed technician. The licensed technician must check that the concentration of fumigant in the exposure area for the fumigation activity is no more than the safe exposure concentration for the fumigant. Also, the licensed technician must take all reasonable steps to ensure no person enters the exposure area until the technician is satisfied the area is safe for entry. (sec.35-ssec.1) This section applies after the release of a fumigant from, and venting of, a fumigation space for a fumigation activity carried out by a licensed technician. (sec.35-ssec.2) The licensed technician must check that the concentration of fumigant in the exposure area for the fumigation activity is no more than the safe exposure concentration for the fumigant. (sec.35-ssec.3) Also, the licensed technician must take all reasonable steps to ensure no person enters the exposure area until the technician is satisfied the area is safe for entry.
