sec.22 Compliance with Commonwealth law
This section applies if a licensed technician carries out a fumigation activity under a law of the Commonwealth. See, for example, the Biosecurity Act 2015 (Cwlth) in relation to requirements for importers or exporters to carry out fumigation activities. The licensed technician is taken to comply with a requirement in a condition in this division in relation to giving a notice or certificate if the technician has complied with the same or a substantially similar requirement for the fumigation activity carried out under the law of the Commonwealth. (sec.22-ssec.1) This section applies if a licensed technician carries out a fumigation activity under a law of the Commonwealth. See, for example, the Biosecurity Act 2015 (Cwlth) in relation to requirements for importers or exporters to carry out fumigation activities. (sec.22-ssec.2) The licensed technician is taken to comply with a requirement in a condition in this division in relation to giving a notice or certificate if the technician has complied with the same or a substantially similar requirement for the fumigation activity carried out under the law of the Commonwealth.
