37 Term of endorsement

(1) An endorsement of a certificate comes into force on the day AMSA states that the endorsement comes into force.

(2) A vessel endorsement mentioned in an item in the following table remains in force for the term mentioned in the item.

4	Sailing vessel	5 years after the day the certificate was endorsed
5	WIG type A craft	5 years after the day the certificate was endorsed
6	Basic training on vessels to which the IGF Code applies	5 years after the day the certificate was endorsed
7	Advanced training on vessels to which the IGF Code applies	5 years after the day the certificate was endorsed
8	Vessels to which the Polar Code applies — basic training	5 years after the day the certificate was endorsed
9	Vessels to which the Polar Code applies — advanced training	5 years after the day the certificate was endorsed
10	Tanker familiarisation	Perpetual

(3) A functions endorsement mentioned in an item in the following table remains in force for the term mentioned in the item.
