21A Eligibility criteria for GMDSS radio operator certificate
For paragraph 31(1)(b) of the Navigation Act, the criteria for the issue of a GMDSS radio operator certificate are that the person:
(a) is at least 18 years old; and
(b) has completed an approved course in radio communication that complies with STCW Code section A-IV/2.
