59 General provisions relating to marine park and aquatic reserve notifications
> > (1) A notification under this Division takes effect on the publication of the notification in the Gazette or on a later date specified in the notification.
>
> > (2) A notification under this Division remains in force, subject to this Act, for the period (not exceeding 5 years) specified in the notification, but may be remade (with or without modification) by a further notification in accordance with this Division.
>
> > (3) Sections 42, 43 and 45 of the [Interpretation Act 1987](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1987-015) apply to notifications under this Division in the same way as they apply to statutory rules within the meaning of that Act.

> >
> > The above provisions of the [Interpretation Act 1987](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1987-015) relate to standard provisions authorising the adoption of other publications by reference, the making of differential notifications, the amendment or repeal of notifications and judicial notice and presumptions as to validity of notifications.
