#### 19 Implementation of marine estate management strategy 19 Implementation of marine estate management strategy > > (1) The relevant Ministers are to have regard to the marine estate management strategy in the exercise of the relevant Ministers’ functions under this Act. > > > (2) Public authorities are to have regard to the marine estate management strategy to the extent that the strategy is relevant to the exercise of their functions. > > > (3) This section— > > > > > (a) does not render the exercise of a function invalid because— > > > > > > > (i) it was made without regard to the marine estate management strategy, or > > > > > > > (ii) it is inconsistent with achieving the outcomes of the marine estate management strategy, and > > > > > (b) does not require or authorise action that is inconsistent with any statutory or other legal obligation of a Minister or a public authority.
