### 32 Representation before Court > > (1) At the hearing of a proceeding before the Court, a party to the proceeding may – > > > > > > (a) appear in person; or > > > > > > > (b) unless any enactment specifically states to the contrary, be represented by a legal practitioner; or > > > > > > > (c) if any enactment specifically allows it, be represented by some other class of person specified in that enactment. > > > (2) Despite [subsection (1)(b)](#GS32@Gs1@Hpb@EN) and [(c)](#GS32@Gs1@Hpc@EN) , the Court may order that the parties to the proceedings before it may not be represented by a legal practitioner or particular class of person if the Court considers it appropriate.
