### 23 Stay of decision > > (1)  Subject to any other enactment, the making of an application to the Court for a review of a reviewable decision does not – > > > > > > (a) affect the operation of the decision; or > > > > > > > (b) prevent the taking of action to implement the decision. > > > (2)  Despite [subsection (1)](#GS23@Gs1@EN) , the Court – > > > > > > (a) may, by order, suspend the operation of the decision; and > > > > > > > (b) may order a stay of any proceeding under the decision. > > > (3)  The Court may make the order – > > > > > > (a) of the Court's own motion; or > > > > > > > (b) on the application of the person who made the application for a review of the reviewable decision.
