291F Childrens Court may adjourn hearings to allow access to
legal advice
(1) This section applies to a charge for an indictable offence against a
child that the Childrens Court is hearing summarily.
(2) The court may, at any time, adjourn the hearing to allow any of the
following people to get legal advice:
(a) the child;
(b) a parent of the child;
(c) someone else who has daily care responsibility, or long-term
care responsibility, for the child.
