291E Procedures for hearing indictable offences
(a) a child charged with an indictable offence is brought before the
Childrens Court; and
(b) the court—
(i) has no power to hear and decide the charge summarily; or
(ii) has the power to hear and decide the charge summarily, but
decides not to.
(2) The Childrens Court must deal with the charge as if—
(a) the charge were a charge for an indictable offence to which this
Act applied; and
(b) the Childrens Court were the Magistrates Court; and
(c) any necessary changes were made.
