252 Sums paid by surety may be recovered from principal
Any amount paid by a surety on behalf of his or her principal in
relation to a security, together with all costs, charges and expenses
incurred by the surety in relation to the security, is taken to be a debt
due to the surety from the principal, and may be recovered on a claim
by the surety.
